Attendance

Central Bucks School District Attendance Policies conform to the Pennsylvania School Code sections 1326 to 1333 dealing with compulsory school attendance.

Please report any attendance event through the Parent Portal. A doctor's note should be submitted for any absence that lasts longer than 3 days.

Here is a list of absence/lateness reasons that are excusable in PA Public Schools: illness, quarantine, death in the immediate family, religious holidays, home emergencies, and health care directly related to the student.

Absence excuses must be received via the portal or in writing within three (3) days of the student’s return. Excuses not reported within three days may result in the absence(s) being classified as illegal. State law requires that an explanation of absence be stated in order for schools to excuse an absence.

As per CBSB Policy 204, students with more than 10 excused absences cumulative throughout the school year must have a doctor's note for each absence thereafter. Please contact our certified school nurse, Ms. Tara Szymanski, or our staff nurse, Mrs. Diana Thomas, if you have questions or concerns about your student's health-related absences.

You can view your student's attendance record on the Parent Portal. Checking the portal frequently is recommended to be sure their attendance records are kept up to date.

Thank you for visiting the Warwick Attendance web page. It is our hope that this resource will help home and school work together to support good attendance and success in learning.
